The First Arkansas Bail Bonds Tournament came to an end Friday with Norfork’s girls suffering their first loss of the season. The Lady Panthers fell in the championship game to North Little Rock by a score of 72-50. Norfork is now 20-1 on the year.
In the other girls’ games, Watson Chapel won the consolation championship with a 49-17 victory over Highland, and Paragould took the seventh place game over Rose Bud 59-40.
The title of the boys’ bracket went to Paragould after they edged out Watson Chapel 53-51. In the other boys’ action, Farmington won the consolation final over Batesville 70-43, and Brinkley got past Rose Bud 68-63 to finish seventh.
