Several basketball teams take the court Tuesday

Basketball makes up the local Tuesday schedule.

On the high school level, Cotter travels to Norfork, Flippin makes the trip to Salem, Yellville-Summit hosts Bergman, Bakersfield heads to Dora, Gainesville’s boys entertain Sparta, Viola travels to Brockwell to face Izard County, Mammoth Spring is home against Calico Rock, the Melbourne girls make the trip to Cave City, St. Joe heads to Mount Judea, Marshall hosts Huntsville, Timbo entertains Midland, Mountain View travels to Searcy to meet Riverview, Lead Hill is home against Deer, Valley Springs hosts Green Forest, Omaha entertains St. Paul, and Western Grove is home against Jasper.

The Mountain Home High School basketball teams will not be playing Tuesday evening. The Bombers and Lady Bombers were originally scheduled to host Mountain View-Liberty, but those games were cancelled.
In the 6A/5A-2, Batesville hosts Greenbrier, Searcy makes the trip to Morrilton, and Beebe heads to Vilonia.

Both of Mountain Home’s freshmen teams will be on the road as they take on West Plains. The girls’ game tips off at 5 p.m. followed by the boys’ contest.
Mountain Home will have four junior high boys’ games at Branson on the campus of Buchanon Intermediate School. Action begins at 4:00 with two seventh grade games, and two eighth grade contests will follow.
Four junior high girls’ games will be played on the campus of Branson Junior High School. Two seventh grade games begin the action at 4:00 to be followed by two eighth grade contests.
In other junior high basketball, Rural Special travels to Greenbrier.
