The Marion County Treasurer will seek re-election this year. Ron McPherson announced he will run for his third term on the Republican ticket.
McPherson is a 1977 graduate of Yellville-Summit High School, and he also has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. After college, he worked out of state for ten years as a bank manager and an internal operations manager.
Over the last 25 years, McPherson has served as the owner and operator of Breadeaux Pizza in Yellville. He continues to own Breadeaux, but the business is currently being run by his breakfast manager and pizza manager.
The primary election in Arkansas is scheduled for May 22nd.
