Larry Harris of Henderson was given 10 years in prison, with five years to serve and five years suspended after entering a no contest plea to drug-related and weapons charges during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

The 64-year-old Harris was first charged with selling methamphetamine to a confidential informant on several occasions in August last year.

He picked up more charges when officers went to his residence along Baxter County Road 48 to arrest him on the methamphetamine sales. While at his residence, officers found drug paraphernalia and a pistol and rifle. Harris is a convicted felon and not allowed to have contact with weapons.
