MH wrestling team wins Berryville tourney

The Mountain Home High School wrestling team had a successful road outing Saturday. The Bombers ended up winning the Berryville Invitational Tournament beating out second place Springfield Glendale by six points.

Mountain Home had two wrestlers win their individual weight categories. Riley Peter was first in the 170-pound division beating opponents from Glendale and Conway, and he then topped Cole Hathcote of Russellville by fall. Owen Kraft’s first opponent in the 184-pound weight class forfeited, and he won his semifinal and championship matches over a pair of wrestlers from Rogers both by fall.

Also for the Bombers, Seth Morgavan was second in the 138, Read Parker took second in the 145, Isaac Brunat finished third in the 120, Jasper Eola ended up third in the 132, and Logan Hart placed fourth in the 160.
