Eight Calico Rock FBLA students advance to state competitions

Students from the Calico Rock School District were among those who competed at the District VI FBLA Spring Conference held at Arkansas State University Mountain Home Friday. A total of 24 students from Calico Rock participated. Of those students eight qualified to advance to state competitions to be held in April at the Little Rock Statehouse Convention Center.Chase Fountain and Emma Mitchell placed first in an introduction to business presentation. Kenlee Killian placed second in publication design. Abby Humphries placed second in the talent competition. Morgan Wood placed third in the job interview category. Hannah Davis placed fifth in journalism. Kallie Fry placed sixth in computer problem solving and Jaclyn Hamby also placed sixth in personal finance.
