Boone County Sheriff Mike Moore reports deputies were involved in a chase that led to the arrest of 27-year-old Austin Glen Angel. During the arrest Angel was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and evidence suggested he was involved in the sale of illegal drugs.

A search warrant was obtained by the narcotics investigator and executed at Angel’s home. The search led to the seizure of what authorities call a substantial amount of methamphetamine and marijuana. The parents of Austin Angel, identified as John “Pete” Angel and Glenna Angel, were arrested along with his brother, 23 year old Garrett Angel.

Also located in the home were firearms and a stolen Harley Davidson motorcycle from the Branson area.

Pete and Glenna Angel have posted bond for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, and theft by receiving.

Both Garrett and Austin Angel remain in the custody of the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.
