MHHS basketball teams to host Vilonia Tuesday

High school basketball makes up the local schedule as Mountain Home plays its last Tuesday home games of the regular season. The Bombers and Lady Bombers are set to welcome Vilonia to the Hangar.
Mountain Home’s girls are 11-10 on the season and 4-3 in the 6A/5A-2 after edging out Batesville in double overtime on Friday. Vilonia is 18-3 and 6-1 as they come off a nine-point win over Morrilton. The Lady Bombers fell to Lady Eagles 27-21 on January 5th.
The Mountain Home boys defeated Batesville four nights ago to improve to 10-11 overall and 5-2 in the district. Vilonia lost to Morrilton to drop to 9-12 and 1-6. The Bombers topped the Eagles 50-44 earlier this month.
The girls’ game tips off at 6 p.m. followed by the boys’ contest. Both games can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.
Elsewhere in the 6A/5A-2, Batesville travels to Morrilton, and Searcy makes the short trip to Beebe.

In other high school basketball, Cotter heads to Yellville-Summit, Norfork travels to Pangburn, Flippin hosts Mammoth Spring, Bakersfield’s boys make the trip to Mansfield, the Gainesville boys entertain Seymour, Lutie heads to Bradleyville, Salem travels to Calico Rock, Melbourne’s boys make the trip to Highland, St. Joe heads to Western Grove, Marshall is home against Berryville, Timbo hosts Concord, Mountain View entertains Heber Springs, Lead Hill is home against Jasper, Bergman hosts Green Forest, Valley Springs entertains Huntsville, and Omaha travels to Decatur.
