
David Fiss and Brandy Hughes of Salesville, who face a large number of criminal charges, were in Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday and entered not guilty pleas to the latest accusations made against them.
The 28-year-old Fiss and 29-year-old Hughes are either both or separately charged with stealing a wide variety of items including multiple vehicles, a 5,000-watt generator, utility trailers, a SeaDoo personal water craft, weapons and personal checks.
Fiss and Hughes face a total of more than 60 charges including multiple counts of theft of property, residential burglary, breaking or entering, forgery and criminal mischief.
According to court records, Fiss is also charged with being a habitual offender.
Fiss has been booked into the Baxter County jail 22 times since 2007 and Hughes 14 times since 2009, according to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office.
Judge Gordon Webb set bond for Fiss at $60,000 and $50,000 for Hughes.
They were ordered to reappear in Baxter County Circuit Court February 1st.
