Veronica Gale pled guilty to drug-related charges and was given four years probation during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

The 38-year-old Gale was in a vehicle pulled over by a Mountain Home police officer in early October last year. A drug dog was brought in and alerted on the rear door of the vehicle in which Gale was riding.

A flowered pouch containing a glass pipe with white residue, a used syringe and a small plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine was located under the seat.

Gale was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

She was sentenced under provisions of Act 346 meaning if she stays out of trouble during her probation period, she can apply to the court to have her record sealed.
