A Boone County man, 18-year-old Kristopher Periman, was recently arrested by Arkansas State Police after an investigation into a series of burglaries to a local business. Boone County Sheriff Mike Moore says Periman was arrested in the area of the Lillie Hobbs Mercantile, located near Omaha, where the burglaries took place.Beginning in December 2017, the Boone County Sheriffs Office started investigating a string of burglaries at the business. The last burglary was reported on January 28th when the Boone County Sheriffs Office was notified of an alarm activation at the mercantile.
Periman allegedly confessed to the burglaries after he was arrested. The stolen property was recovered. He was booked into the Boone County Jail on three counts of commercial burglary, three counts of theft of property and three counts of criminal mischief. He was released from Boone County Jail after posting bond.
