Heather McDaniel wasted little time pleading guilty to drug-related charges against her. She was arrested January 25th and entered her guilty plea in a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

The 30-year-old McDaniel was given three years probation on charges of possessing drug paraphernalia.

McDaniel was arrested when officers conducted a compliance visit on a residence near Gassville where probationer Julieann McMeechan resides.

According to the probable cause affidavit, officers found various items of drug paraphernalia including smoking devices, digital scales and what were described as numerous small plastic bags used to package and dispense drugs.

The residue on the items tested positive for methamphetamine.

McDaniel was sentenced under provisions of Act 346, meaning if she stays out of trouble during her probation period, she can apply to the court to have her record sealed.
