MH soccer teams win benefit games

The Mountain Home High School soccer teams played their benefit games Thursday night at Harrison and picked up a pair of wins.

The Bombers were 2-1 winners. Luke Henson and Paul Athiconnanta each scored goals and Joseph McCoy had two saves in goal. The Bombers outshot Harrison 12-4. The Goblins only goal came on a penalty kick.

The Lady Bombers were 4-0 winners over Harrison. Mountain Home got two goals from Sabra Wickersham and one each from Grace Beckham and Sarah Swonger. Victoria Bevel had two goal saves. Harrison only had four shots on goal.

The Mountain Home soccer teams will being the regular season Tuesday night at home against Green Forest. The games were originally scheduled to be at Green Forest but have been moved to Bomber Stadium.
