There were four additional filings for constable positions in Baxter County Thursday as the filing period concluded, with two creating races.
Doug Stephens filed for the Position 1 position against incumbent David Witherington, while Scott Thrasher filed for the Position 10 seat where Steve Raines had previously filed.
In addition, Jim Eberley filed for the Position 5 seat, Tommy Steen for the Position 8 seat. Eberley and Steen do not face opposition.
