MH among local baseball, softball teams in action Tuesday

Baseball and softball make up much of the local Tuesday schedule.

The Mountain Home High School baseball team returns to the road as they begin district play. The Bombers will compete in a varsity doubleheader at Batesville with the first game beginning at 4 p.m.
Elsewhere, Cotter hosts Bruno-Pyatt, Norfork travels to Heber Springs, Yellville-Summit makes the trip to Bergman, Viola entertains Omaha, Salem is home against Mammoth Spring, Melbourne hosts Corning, and Marshall entertains Berryville.
Mountain Home’s freshmen squad will be at McClain Park as they take on Lifeway Christian. The first pitch at Pitts Field is scheduled for 3:30.

The Mountain Home High School softball team will begin district play as they welcome Batesville to McClain Park for a varsity doubleheader. The first game on Freedom Field starts at 4:30.
In other high school softball, Cotter is home against Bruno-Pyatt, Yellville-Summit hosts Berryville, Viola heads to Mountain View, Calico Rock entertains Concord, Melbourne is home against Hillcrest, Marshall travels to Huntsville, and Bergman makes the trip to Green Forest.
