The Mountain Home freshmen baseball team had a rough outing in Springfield Saturday as they lost a pair of tournament games at Kickapoo High School.
The Freshmen Bombers began the day by falling to the host Chiefs 9-8. Dawson Tabor and Jackson Jones led Mountain Home with three hits each, and Bryce McKay added two base hits.
The Freshmen Bombers later fell to Joplin 10-3. Mountain Home’s base hits were provided by Logen Walker, Clayton Jones, McKay and Lawson Stockton.
The Freshmen Bombers will head to West Plains on Friday.
