In high school baseball Wednesday, Izard County split a double header with Hillcrest.
In the first game, the Cougars rallied from a 6-0 defecit to win 9-8 when Chase Orf stole home with two out in the bottom of the fifth inning with the game winning run. Noah Everett had three hits and drove in two runs while Matthew Workman had three RBI.
Hillcrest won the nightcap 6-0.
Izard County is now 9-10 on the season.
