In high school baseball Thursday, Cotter fell at Izard County 11-5. Noah Everett paced the offense with two hits and four runs driven in, Dylan Tharp had three hits and two RBI and Eli Johnson added two hits and drove in two runs.
Izard County improves to 10-10 on the season while the Warriors fall to 5-11.
Salem was an 11-6 winner over Mammoth Spring. The Greyhounds up their record to 13-8 and 11-3 in the 2A/1A-2 district while the Bears fall to 10-8 overall and 9-4 in district play.
