FRC Team 16, also known as the Baxter Bomb Squad, took part in the final day of competition at the FIRST Robotics World Championships in Houston on Saturday. The Bomb Squad was able to advance to the finals, but they fell just short of the world title.

The morning began with the Mountain Home team taking home the 2018 Quality Award for the Carver-Newton Division. Alliance selection followed, and the Bomb Squad teamed up with Teams 1425, 418 and 4795 as the number three seed.

The Bomb Squad’s alliance lost its first quarterfinal match 412-407. They did pick up a win later, but the season soon came to an end as they were stopped by an outside alliance.

The Baxter Bomb Squad says they would like to thank the community for their support this year.
