Mountain Home teen injured in Ozark County wreck

A Mountain Home teenager was injured in a one-vehicle accident in Ozark County Sunday afternoon. Sixteen-year-old Autumn McFarland was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center by ambulance with what were termed moderate injuries by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

The report indicates a truck driven by 44-year-old Stephen McFarland ran off the right side of the road, the driver overcorrected, and the vehicle went off the left side of the road where it struck an embankment and overturned.

The accident occurred on Route J, 8 miles east of Gainesville at 1:15 Sunday afternoon.
