Kimberly Rowe of Gassville — who pled no contest in late March to stealing prescription drugs and money from clients of two companies providing in-home health care services for which she worked — was back in Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday to plead to new charges filed against her.

Rowe was sentenced to six years probation, given a 120-day sentence in the Baxter County jail with credit for time served and ordered to pay $255 in restitution on her new charges.

The 40-year-old Rowe also entered a no contest plea to the new charges. She was accused of stealing items from a Gassville home. The resident had installed a game camera after items began turning up missing from her property.

When items again began disappearing from the residence, the video footage from the game camera was reviewed, and Rowe was identified as a suspect. The video captured Rowe entering the property on two occasions. On one of those occasions, she was seen taking yard ornaments, flowers and flower pots.

She also went into a closed shed at the rear of the property and removed a fish aquarium.

In her initial case, Rowe was given four years probation and sentenced to 15 days in the county jail. Rowe had been working as a certified nursing assistant for two in-home health care companies at the time.

The Mountain Home Police Department received a report from one of the two companies Rowe had been working for that she had been terminated after the firm received complaints from customers about missing items. The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office also received a theft report from another of the in-home health service providers that a client — a cancer survivor — reported missing both prescription pain killers and a small amount of cash.

The missing items were noticed after Rowe had visited the home, according to the investigative records.

Both companies had fired Rowe based on the customer complaints.
