Midway man back in court, gets prison time

Christopher Jorsch of Midway was back in Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday where he pled guilty to possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia and was given three years in prison.

The 39-year-old Jorsch was stopped by a Mountain Home police officer January 22nd. At the time of the stop, Jorsch was a probationer from an earlier conviction with a search waiver on file.

Among the items found in the vehicle being driven by Jorsch were 14 liquid-soaked cotton swabs testing positive for methamphetamine, five individual bags of suspected marijuana and two sets of digital scales.
