Three Missouri residents die in separate accidents Monday

Two Taney County residents and a Douglas County man all died in separate accidents Monday.

The latest accident occurred Monday night which claimed the life of 18-year-old Paola Morales of Cedar Creek. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the car Morales was driving ran off the roadway and struck a tree on Highway M, 15 miles southeast of Kissee Mills.
A passenger in the vehicle, 16-year-old Carson Wells of Cedar Creek, was taken to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield with moderate injuries.

Earlier Monday evening, 23-year-old Emilio Pineda of Kirbyville was killed when a vehicle he was a passenger in struck another vehicle, ran off the road and struck a tree. Pineda was not wearing a seat belt.
Another person in the vehicle, 53-year-old angel Moldanado of Kirbyville, was taken to Cox South with serious injuries.
The accident occurred on Highway 76, eight miles east of Branson.

A man from Ava was killed in a one-vehicle accident Monday morning. Twenty-three-year-old David Penn was killed when the vehicle ran off the roadway, struck a culvert, crossed back across the highway, struck some trees and overturned. Penn, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle.
The accident occurred on Highway 76, four miles west of Ava.
