Marc Zdan of Mountain Home, who admitted to stealing a pair of women’s undergarments for his girlfriend from a local store and possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, pled guilty to the charges against him during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

Zdan was sentenced to six years probation.

Mountain Home police officers were dispatched to the store where the theft was reported. Store employees said Zdan had left the store and driven to a nearby business.

The police caught up with Zdan at the other business. The 33-year-old Zdan was said to have admitted stealing the women’s undergarments. He also turned over a blue smoking pipe and admitted to smoking methamphetamine about two hours prior to the encounter with police.

Officers searched Zdan’s vehicle and located a handgun in the driver’s door.

Zdan was sentenced under provisions of Act 346, meaning if he stays out of trouble during the period of his probation, he can apply to the courts to have his record sealed.
