One of two men accused of breaking into a business and stealing items, including a Moped, was in Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

Twenty-eight-year-old Evan Bowers entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him and was ordered to reappear in circuit court August 2nd.

Two men were developed as suspects in the mid-July theft — Bowers and 39-year-old Waylon Myers.

Myers was arrested July 16th and was reported to have admitted to his part in the robbery. Several days later, Mountain Home police went to a residence in connection with a separate incident and encountered Bowers.

At the time, Bowers had an active warrant against him. He fled from the residence on foot when officers arrived, but was apprehended after a short pursuit. Bowers was said to have also admitted his part in the theft.

Myers appeared in circuit court July 19th. He was ordered to reappear in court August 23rd to check the status of his case, including whether he had hired a lawyer to represent him.
