Two Ozark County residents, 42-year-old Earl Christine and 48-year-old Ericka Christine, both of Theodosia, were transported by ambulance to Baxter Regional Medical Center following a Wednesday morning accident 3 miles south of Gainesville on State Highway 5.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Ericka Christine was southbound when the vehicle she was driving ran off the roadway and struck an embankment, fence and a tree.
Injuries to the pair were described as moderate. Their vehicle was towed from the scene of the 7:10 a.m. accident.
