A Yellville teen already facing charges in a burglary incident at Yellville-Summit Public Schools is now being accused of breaking into local residences. According to the probable cause affidavit, 17-year-old Robert Dickerson was charged with a felony count of residential burglary and a misdemeanor count of theft of property.

A sheriff’s investigator retrieved surveillance cameras from Arkansas Highway 14 South, where several residences were reportedly burglarized. After a break-in reported July 16th, the investigator placed two cameras at the location, attempting to catch a suspect or suspects who had broken into the residence twice within a one-month period.

An image captured by the cameras revealed a male and female walking east away from the rear of the residence. However, the investigator was unable to get a positive identification. Another photo showed the back of a white male walking to the back door wearing white ball shorts. The next photo showed the profile of the suspect the investigator reportedly recognized as Dickerson. As the investigator continued to review the photos, Dickerson could allegedly be seen pushing on the door as another white, unidentified male exited the residence. A white, unidentified female was captured in another photo, and the unidentified male was exiting the residence with the female suspect behind him. Dickerson is allegedly seen carrying unidentified items from the residence.

Dickerson appeared in Marion County Circuit Court July 18th to answer to four felony offenses in connection with a burglary at Yellville-Summit Public Schools. Online court records indicate he entered a plea of not guilty to charges of theft, theft of a firearm, commercial burglary and criminal mischief.
