Sherry Dickerson of Mountain Home plead guilty to drug-related charges during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday and was given three years probation.

According to the probable cause affidavit, the 49-year-old Dickerson was taken into custody in late April when officers observed her unable to control erratic movements and appearing to be under the influence of methamphetamine. She gave officers permission to search her backpack where police found a glass smoking pipe containing narcotics residue, apparently once used to ingest methamphetamine. A small amount of the drug was also found.

Dickerson was sentenced under provisions of Act 346, meaning if she stays out of trouble during her probation period, she can apply to the court to have her record sealed.
