Bergman superintendent announces retirement

During the August meeting of the Bergman school board, Superintendent Joe Couch announced he will retire. According to the Harrison Daily Times, Couch, who began as superintendent in 2005, told the board the current school year will be his last. His retirement will be effective June 30, 2019.

Couch’s remarks were brief and humble. He stated, “”I have worked with a great staff at a great school. It has been my good fortune to work with some of the best.””
