OSCEOLA, Mo. (AP) _ The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department says the deaths
of two men in a shooting at a convenience store appear to be a murder-suicide.

KYTV reports the shooting happened Friday morning at “The Port” convenience
store in Osceola.

Sheriff Scott Keeler says he believes the deaths stemmed from a child custody
dispute. He says it appears one man shot the other man before turning shooting
himself. The men’s identities have not been released.

No children were with either of the men at the time of the shooting.

The sheriff is turning over the investigation to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
