KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Prosecutors are recommending an 89-year prison term for a woman who set a fire that resulted in the deaths of two Kansas City firefighters.Forty-six-year-old Thu Hong Nguyen is scheduled to be sentenced Friday for second-degree murder, arson and assault. She was convicted in July of setting a fire to her nail salon in October 2015.

Firefighters Larry Leggio and John Mesh died when a wall collapsed on them as they fought the fire. Two other firefighters were seriously wounded.

The Kansas City Star reports prosecutors are asking the judge to make Nguyen’s sentences for six counts consecutive.

Prosecutors portrayed Nguyen as someone who had a history of burning businesses for insurance money. Nguyen was also convicted of arson at a 2013 fire at a previous nail salon.
