The Mountain Home High School tennis teams split their matches at Jonesboro Tuesday afternoon.
The Lady Bombers defeated Jonesboro 5-3. Emily Heidi won both of her singles matches while Meagan Beck won one of hers. In doubles play, the teams of Sarah Godfrey and Mandelyn Smeltzer along with Karoline Yeakley and Micaela McLean each won on of their two matches.
The Bombers suffered their first defeat of the season, falling to Jonesboro 7-1. The lone win for Mountain Home was the doubles team of Sam Arp and Anakin Osgood who won one of their two matches.
Both the Bombers and Lady Bombers are 9-1 on the season. They host Jonesboro Thursday for senior night.
