WYNNE, Ark. (AP) – The Cross County sheriff’s office says it’s searching for a
man who is suing the Little Rock Police Department after authorities say he hit
a deputy with a car outside a courthouse and fled.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported Wednesday Roderick Talley was at the Cross County Courthouse for a jury trial shortly before 10:00 a.m. when he pushed down a deputy, stole a rental car and hit another deputy with the vehicle. A spokesman for the sheriff’s office says that neither deputy was injured.

Talley is involved in a lawsuit against both the city of Little Rock and the
police department after he claimed police falsely accused him of selling cocaine
to obtain an arrest warrant.

Talley was last seen driving a 2019 Ford Fiesta.
