T&C Clovers 4-H Club members will be accepting donation items to fill the community cabin Sunday afternoon from 1:00 until 3:00. The community cabin is located in the parking lot of the Baxter County Services Building at the corner of Ninth Street and U.S. Highway 62. The motto of the community cabin is take what you need and leave what you can.

Stocking the community cabin is an ongoing project for the T&C Clovers 4-H club members, who have been working to help benefit the community. A spokesperson for the club says since around the holidays many families experience a financial burden, the 4-H members would like to ensure the cabin is fully stocked with personal care items.

Suggested donation items are feminine products, toiletries, such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, and toothbrushes, chapstick, diapers, wipes, hand sanitizer, deodorant, toilet tissue, hand towels, laundry soap, hats and gloves.

Donations of food should be taken to the Hickory Park food pantry.
For those unable to make donations Sunday afternoon, a reminder the community cabin is always open. Large donation drops may be taken to the Baxter County Cooperative Extension office Monday through Friday from 8:00 until 4:00.
