The Arvest Foundation has presented the City of Yellville with a $10,000 donation towards the addition of a splash pad at a local city park. The planned slash pad will feature a large water park area with water toys that look similar to giant water guns, umbrellas and archways.

Several Arvest Bank associates were on hand at the Yellville City Council’s November meeting to make the check presentation to Park Chairman Lyn Baker and other board members from the Yellville City Parks Commission.

Mike Willard, president and CEO of Arvest Bank in North Central Arkansas, says the splash pad area will be a great benefit to the families in the Yellville community.

Yellville Mayor Shawn Lane says this park will be a safe place to play in the water in the hot summer months for the children of the community for many years to come.
