A Midway woman, 37-year-old Nichole Ashley Guinn, is facing four felony charges after she allegedly took funds from behind the counter of a convenience store when the manager stepped away.

According to the probable cause affidavit, the store manager reported in August he was out of the building at Midway taking care of trash when Guinn is alleged to have entered the business unnoticed. She reportedly went behind the counter and took $50.

The manager reviewed video once the money was discovered missing and was able to identify Guinn who lived in a nearby residence. He also obtained a vehicle plate number and a description of her car.

After reviewing the video from a few days prior, the manager told authorities he discovered Guinn allegedly had previously taken funds from the store.

Guinn was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center Sunday and is charged with two felony counts of commercial burglary and breaking or entering. She also faces two misdemeanor counts of theft of property. Online jail records indicate Guinn also faces three misdemeanor counts of failure to appear.

Her bond was set at $17,145.
