Baxter County has one of the highest rates of suicide in Arkansas, and Christ Community Church (also known as C3) is looking to bring that statistic down. The church, located in the Twin Lakes Plaza, will host a suicide prevention seminar Tuesday evening at 6:00.
C3 Pastor David Johnson says several area residents have experienced the loss of a family member or a friend to suicide, and he is among those to go through such an experience on more than one occasion.

Johnson says one problem people face is they want to help prevent someone from taking his or her own life, but they may not know how.
