You can watch the clip, which was directed by François Rousselet, now at the band’s VEVO YouTube channel.

At the beginning of the video, we see Stewart carrying some groceries out of a bodega in an urban section of Los Angeles when she’s discovers a vintage blue Mustang GT with its driver-side door open and keys in the ignition. She proceeds to hop in the car and take it for a joy ride through the streets of L.A. Along the way, she is shown licking a blue lollipop — a visual that reflects the Blue & Lonesome cover art — dancing suggestively while stopping to gas up the vehicle, and encountering a zebra while she drives down the concrete-lined Los Angeles River.

At one point, Stewart is pulled over by a police car, but it turns out that the cruiser is being driven by a sketchy looking guy in a ripped flannel shirt and jeans. The guy asks Kristen, “Where’d you get the gas?” Feeling threatened, she responds by grabbing the handle of a knife that’s next to her and telling him, “You should probably get out of here.” “Great tune,” he says while walking away.

“Ride ‘Em on Down” is one of the 12 vintage blues cover tunes featured on Blue & Lonesome, which The Stones recorded live in the studio over the course of a few days.

You can check out a new video feature boasting interviews with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, Charlie Watts and producer Don Was discussing the making of the album at Amazon.co.uk.
