PRNewsFoto/Live Nation EntertainmentStevie Nicks was supposed to wrap up her 24 Karat Gold Tour with opening act The Pretenders with a December 18 show at The Forum in Inglewood, California, but the beloved Fleetwood Mac singer has now extended the solo trek into 2017. A total of 20 new dates have just been announced, running from a February 23 concert in Reno, Nevada, through an April 6 show in Uniondale, New York.
Tickets for the newly announced concerts go on sale to the public starting Monday, December 12, via LiveNation.com. Pre-sale tickets will be available to American Express card members beginning Wednesday, December 7, at 10 a.m. local time.
During her 24 Karat Gold Tour shows, Nicks has been performing a career-spanning set that features selections from her various solo albums, including her recent studio efforts In Your Dreams and 24 Karat Gold — Songs from the Vault, as well as some Fleetwood Mac classics. One of the highlights of the concerts has been a duet between Nicks and Pretenders frontwoman Chrissie Hynde on a version of Stevie’s 1981 hit with Tom Petty, “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around.”
“It’s been thrilling to get on stage each night and sing some of my early gems from early in my career along with getting the chance to sing the material from my last two albums,” says Nicks in a statement.
