The baby’s mother, 29-year-old ballerina Melanie Hamrick, confirmed the news herself with an Instagram post Friday, sharing a photo of the child as well. “I’m so [in] love with my baby Deveraux Jagger,” Hamrick captioned the photo, adding, “Thank you @lizzyjagger for the sweet introduction.”
Lizzy would be Elizabeth Jagger, Deveraux’s half-sister, the daughter of Mick and his former partner, Jerry Hall. The 32-year-old on Saturday revealed the baby’s full name in her own Instagram post: “So proud of my beautiful baby brother Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger,” she wrote, sharing the same photo as Hamrick.
Deveraux was born December 8 in New York City. It’s 73-year-old Mick’s eighth child. He also has five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
