CenturyLink customers on the Midway exchange are currently without service while technicians replace equipment damaged by a power surge early Friday morning. A spokesman from CenturyLink says service should be back by 5 Friday evening, or possibly sooner. During the outage, customers are asked to use their cellular phones for 911 calls.
