The Mountain Home 8th and 9th grade boy’s basketball teams traveled to Providence Academy in Rogers Thursday night and picked up a pair of wins.
In the 9th grade game, Mountain Home won 35-26. The Junior Bombers trailed 8-2 after the first quarter but went on a 16-3 run in the second quarter to take the lead.
Matt Jones led the scoring with 13 points as the Junior Bombers improve to 8-8.
Mountain Home defeated Providence Academy 55-30 in the 8th grade game to improve to 13-1 on the season. Brandon Morris paced the 8th Grade Bombers with 21 points and Dawson Tabor added 12. Mountain Home led 31-12 at the half.
