
BATON ROUGE, La. University of Arkansas senior Jessica Jackson dropped in 15 points and had eight rebounds but a 16-9 run in the fourth quarter lifted LSU to the 53-46 win in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Sunday.
The back-and-fourth game was tied at 37-all heading into the fourth quarter but a plus-three-minute scoring drought that included Jackson and freshman Kiara Williams fouling out, allowed the Tigers (15-6, 4-4 SEC) to sweep the series.
Arkansas (13-8, 2-6 SEC) started the game on fire shooting 72.7% going 8-of-11 from the floor. The seven-point first quarter lead evaporated behind 22 Razorback turnovers in the game.
The Tigers, who rank among the nations leaders in steals, grabbed 13 against Arkansas and converted the Razorback turnovers into 23 points.
Freshman Aaliyah Wilson had eight points and sophomore Bailey Zimmerman added seven for Arkansas.
Arkansas returns home for back-to-back games against Georgia on Thursday and No. 5 South Carolina on Sunday. The Razorbacks then play four of their final six games on the road.
