Credit: Henry DiltzDavid Crosby wrapped up a tour in support of his latest solo album, Lighthouse, in December, but now the folk-rock legend has announced plans for a new trek on which he’ll be backed by a mostly different cast of musicians. The David Crosby & Friends Tour 2017 will hit the road on April 18 in Anaheim, California, and is scheduled to run through a May 24 concert in Bar Harbor, Maine.

Joining Crosby on the trek will be his son James Raymond on keyboards, as well as Crosby, Stills & Nash touring drummer Steve DiStanislao; guitarist Jeff Pevar, who previously played with David and James in the group CPR; bassist Mai Agan; and singer/keyboardist Michelle Willis. Willis was one of three musicians who played with Crosby on his fall 2016 tour promoting Lighthouse, along with Snarky Puppy‘s Michael League and singer/guitarist Becca Stevens.

On the upcoming trek, Crosby will showcase songs from his 2014 solo effort Croz, tunes his forthcoming album Sky Trails and well-known selection from his back catalog, including CSN, The Byrds and CPR.

Meanwhile, Crosby also has addressed Neil Young‘s comment in a new MOJO magazine interview that he feels Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young have “every chance of getting together again.” In a post on his Twitter feed, David responded, “Fine with me.”
