Henderson man arrested after domestic violence call

      A Henderson man, 40-year-old Deric Rushin, was arrested Wednesday evening at 11:30 after officers responded to a domestic violence call on Glenbriar Court. According to Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel, officers received a call saying a female had been kicked in the face. Prior to arriving on scene, officers were notified Rushin had two outstanding warrants, one was a felony warrant on drug related charges. When they arrived Rushin was placed under arrest and searched. During the search, officers found a substance believed to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was charged with additional misdemeanors related to the incident including third degree domestic battery. He was booked into the Baxter County Jail with bond set at $11,920.
     The victim was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center by ambulance.
