A Mountain Home woman, seen by Mountain Home Police in a vehicle behind a closed business, was arrested Saturday on felony drug charges. Mountain Home Police Chief says 33 year old Chasity Miller is being held in the Baxter County jail on $2,500 bond. She is charged with possession of morphine and drug paraphernalia as well as possession, furnishing or using prohibited articles and misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
The police chief says when officers made contact with Miller and her companion, neither had a valid driver license and the other person was on parole with a search waiver as part of his probation. During a search of the occupants and vehicle, two syringes containing a substance believed to be morphine and other drug paraphernalia was found, which Miller said belonged to her. While she was being processed at the jail, additional drugs were found underneath her closing.
The unidentified passenger with Miller was transported to the police department and later released.
