Because we care is not only the motto of the Saturday Club of Cotter, it has been the motivating force for generations of Cotter women who have contributed countless volunteer hours and thousands of dollars to their community. The previous segment in this Our Community Cares series on the Saturday Club of Cotter focused on projects of the club through their over 100 year history. This segment will focus on their fund activities including their annual salad brunch held the end of May at Hopkinswoode Bed and Breakfast overlooking the White River.
Donna Powell, a second generation member of the club, says Hopkinswoode, owned by Marilyn Morris, has a special connection to the Saturday Club.
