Rotary Club helping with medical supplies

      Members of the Rotary Club of Mountain Home recently loaded donated items into a truck and trailer from their district-wide corporation – the Medical Supplies Network, Inc(MSNI). Although some of what is contributed goes to local needs, most of it is shipped overseas to third-world countries or those recovering from disaster. Director VJ Lively from Tulsa, where the main distribution center is located, says where women are giving birth in a hospital on a concrete slab, even a clean sheet is treasured. Local Rotarian Brenda Nelson says Rotarians would like to thank the many individuals and medical facilities in the area who have donated to their cause with used and refurbished supplies.
