Kenny Loggins, Kevin Cronin, Richie Sambora among music stars set to appear on new series “The Comedy Jam”

Comedy CentralA variety of well-known musicians, including Kenny Loggins, REO Speedwagon‘s Kevin Cronin and ex-Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, will appear on a new Comedy Central series called The Comedy Jam, which features actors and comedians performing their favorite songs with a house band and, sometimes, with guest artists.

On the premiere episode, which airs March 22 at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT, Sambora will join comic and TV host Chris Hardwick for a rendition of Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive.” Cronin will be featured on the show airing April 12 and will team up with actor Mark Duplass to sing REO Speedwagon’s “Can’t Fight This Feeling.” Loggins will appear on the May 10 show, the season finale, and will perform his hit “Footloose” with former Saturday Night Live cast member Jon Rudnitsky.

Other music stars that will be featured on various episodes of The Comedy Jam include Def Leppard‘s Phil Collen, former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach, Judas Priest‘s Rob Halford, Creed‘s Scott Stapp and The Dixie ChicksNatalie Maines.
