There is a possibility of snow Saturday and Saturday night along with the chance for freezing temperatures in the forecast. A freeze warning has been issued for Baxter, Marion, Boone, Fulton, Newton, Searcy, Stone and Izard counties. Southern Missouri is under the warning as well.
Senior Forecaster, John Lewis, from the National Weather Service in Little Rock says the freeze warning was issued from 3:00 Saturday Morning until 9:00 a.m. Temperatures will dip to around freezing or a little below. Along with the freezing temperatures there is a chance for snow.

Plants will be stressed, especially those that have sprouted during the recent mild temperatures. A mild freeze could be in store for Friday evening.

A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are highly likely. The biggest impact will be on fruit trees, bushes and tender vegetation.
